If my 6-year-old self made a mix it would consist of Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Jewel, Patsy Cline and a smattering of songs from the Phantom of the Opera.
When I was little mom had a VHS of Andrew Lloyd Webber's hits that was played all the time. Tonight, I've been playing the standout songs on repeat. It has put me in a pensive and somber mood as I'm brought back to watching this movie with Mom and Moose. It's so strange how these songs and the music videos that went with them are still so vivid. I still know almost all the words and I know exactly where I'd fast-forward because the song was boring or there was too much kissing.
